Reported via mobile in the General fly tipping category anonymously at 18:59, Thursday 24 November 2022
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later.
Council ref: 3991373.
Lots of bin bags by the side of the A47 in a disused gateway into the quarry. Can not say how long it’s been there as I only noticed it because I was in traffic. So the bags could have accumulated over time (or all been dumped the day before…)

We were unable to clear this fly tip. It may be that we were unable to locate it or it may have been on private land.
Fly-tipping will only be cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council. We are unable to clear fly-tipping from private land as this is the responsibility of the land owner.
Whilst we cannot provide further details at this time, residents can obtain information on land ownership through HM Land Registry if required. In some cases, the council's environmental enforcement team will investigate further. Therefore, this job has not been completed.
State changed to: No further action
