Road flooding, cars driving wrong side of road
Reported via desktop in the Other public drainage issue category anonymously at 12:19, Tue 8 November 2022
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3948028.
This is a yearly problem, all the drainage gutters in the grass verge as you leave Helpston via Maxey Road (going to Maxey) are blocked. Whenever it rains the water build up and cars drive around to avoid it (this is a narrow road) driving down middle or wrong side of road! When we have downpours the water completely fills the road and up my driveway (No 38). Unfortunately my house is at the bottom of the slope from Helpston to railway line so I get effected most. Normally they bring some machine along that digs out the soil/turf leaving clear routes for water to go. There are about 6 gutter-ways to do.
Many Thanks Graham Montague
