Persistent pooling water inhibits Road crossing

Where Kent Road joins Midland Road there is a persistent issue with large amount of pooled water on the road and pavement after heavy rain. The large pool of water inhibits the safe crossing of Kent Road junction for Children and their families walking to and from school as well as a number of visually impaired local residents.

  • We have cleansed the gully further into Kent Road, however we believe this area of standing water may be due to a low spot on the carriageway surfacing.
