Polystyrene cups
Reported via desktop in the General fly tipping category anonymously at 21:30, Tue 11 October 2022
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3883735.
I have previously reported the pile of polystyrene cups discarded in this area by a member of staff who we believe works at a nearby office. You have stated that it is on private land, however, it is not inside the fence adjoining Thorpe Wood Police Station, it would appear to me to be on highway land. Please can you re-investigate?

We were unable to clear this fly tip. It may be that we were unable to locate it or it may have been on private land.
Fly-tipping will only be cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council. We are unable to clear fly-tipping from private land as this is the responsibility of the land owner.
Whilst we cannot provide further details at this time, residents can obtain information on land ownership through HM Land Registry if required. In some cases, the council's environmental enforcement team will investigate further. Therefore, this job has not been completed.
State changed to: No further action
