Too many bird droppings on drive and pathway

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3859193.

This is ongoing, i have two little children and bird poops are everywhere as soon as we step out of the house its all over carrying bird poop on our shoes to homes causing bad health for kids and us, car needs wash every day as its on our cars too, branches of tree is over out drive way near the roof of our house, can something please be done as its affecting our daily lives both indoors and outdoors! Thank you

  • Thank you for your enquiry, Dogsthorpe Ward is currently undergoing it’s 3 yearly tree survey where our operatives are carrying out a variety of minor tree works. These works where necessary will include :

    - Crown lifting of low branches affecting footways, highways and street lights and signs
    - Basal epicormic and ivy removal
    - Removal of deadwood
    - Young Tree Maintenance

    Following these works the trees will be inspected by a qualified tree surveyor, and all other required health and safety works will be collated and issued over the coming weeks for completion.

    It is highly probable that once these works have been completed your issue will be resolved. However if you find that by the end of the Winter period that the issue is still present then please feel free to contact us again
