On Thorpe Road, just before the bridge over the Nene parkway (Right hand side going towards Longthorpe) there is a place where people sit and smoke and drink from polystyrene cups and then they just dump the cups over the bridge. The cigarette ends are also dropped on the pavement. We believe this person or people are members of staff at Thorpe Wood Police Station. This spot is right on the edge of their land. Can anything be done about this please?

We were unable to clear this fly tip. It may be that we were unable to locate it or it may have been on private land.
Fly-tipping will only be cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council. We are unable to clear fly-tipping from private land as this is the responsibility of the land owner.
Whilst we cannot provide further details at this time, residents can obtain information on land ownership through HM Land Registry if required. In some cases, the council's environmental enforcement team will investigate further. Therefore, this job has not been completed.
State changed to: No further action
