Trench dug across the road, dips either side of tr

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:27, Sun 25 September 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3847114.

This is an ongoing issue outside our home which is causing our house to vibrate / shake every time a large HGV passes by in either direction. This has led to hairline cracks appearing in every room in the house which never happened in the ten years we have lived here. the trench has been redone i know, but the matter has not been resolved. This vibration only started after the road had a trench dug all the way across. At the moment it seems you are blaming anglian water for the trench dug across the road and they are blaming you for the state of the road. Either way our house shakes like a mini earthquake every time a heavy HGV passes. If this carries on one or both of you will be hit by an expensive bill to repair our house. Can you and Anglian water please get together to discuss the best way to solve this issue. Philip Eldon
