Littering left by travellers

Reported via desktop in the Litter removal category anonymously at 18:17, Monday 12 September 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3820429.

There have been travellers staying in this spot (the long strip of grass next to the trees behind Vetchfield) for roughly a week and a half, they've finally left and the place is in a state. Tons of bags of garbage stacked up in piles along the path, lots of loose beer bottles, empty gas tanks, a wheel, and an abandonded wheelchair, amongst lots of other rubbish. Several damaged trees, along with a large amount of wooden bollards having been ripped out of the ground and the grass churned up from the cars and caravans. There's also fire damage to the environment from their cooking pit. You'll need a van or a small skip, there's that much rubbish.
