Danger to children - bars removed from bridge

Reported via mobile in the Damaged structure category anonymously at 22:16, Friday 26 August 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3783947.

Wooden bars appear to have been deliberately removed from bridge. I didn’t notice before and my toddler could have fallen through we go over that bridge very often and she stops and holds the bars to look through at the water/ducks but you don’t think to look for damage on a bridge or where there is protective fences especially when the wood blends with surroundings so I didn’t notice and she could have fallen through it is wide enough! Husband mentioned he had noticed it on a run after I told him about the damage to metal fence the other side of the underpass there that I have also reported tonight with photos
