Danger for children

Reported via mobile in the Damaged structure category anonymously at 22:10, Friday 26 August 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3783943.

My toddler was splashing in puddles I was videoing her and didn’t notice the big opening on the metal fencing behind her (as i never noticed it was unsafe) until I played it back at home. It looks like it has been deliberately damaged and has some sharp bits where bars have been removed. My toddler always holds onto the bars at various points and leans on them was a big chance she could have fallen through into the water as the metal fence gives the impression of it being safe if she didn’t notice she could have gone to hold a bar that wasn’t there. Also damage to wooden bridge near other side of underpass where bars have been removed I will report that one separately but it is equally concerning
