Fence wire left unfixed

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3783451.

Resident of 167 Arundel Road have rolled up a wire fence in order to fix new wooden fencing and have left the word unfixed and rolled up. Please redux the wire to my (169) rear fence and remove excess

  • Thank you for your report. Unfortunately the fence does not belong to highways. This boundary fence will belong to the property as in the 90s the council housing stock was sold at the time to cross keys homes. From then, properties where brought by members of the public and this would include any boundary fence around the plot line of the property. As your neighbour has erected a new fence you will need to discuss with them about the damage caused to your property fence in the process of the new fence been erected.
