Maggots in building due to overflowing bins

Reported via mobile in the General fly tipping category anonymously at 01:46, Thursday 18 August 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3762872.

Due to the heatwave and lots of bin use our communal garden has had maggots. Myself and my neighbours (41-47 Richmond Avenue) have tried our hardest to get rid of them using all recommended advice online but they have now entered our communal building tonight. I’ve spent most of the night trying to get rid of them but they seem to be multiplying ridiculously quick. I myself have a 1 year old son and I cannot allow him outside due to this. Not to mention the worry of the maggots entering our properties. We cannot afford professional pest control or remove the rubbish as nobody has the correct transport. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
