Obstruction to public footpath

Reported via desktop in the Public right of way - problem with access or damage category anonymously at 16:08, Monday 15 August 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3755802.

This obstruction has been reported to the school a number of times since early July 2022, the hedge that is both a health & safety hazard to children/buggies/mobility scooters and bicycles. The immediate area near the chicane at the entrance to Elter walk was trimmed but the site manager said I was just complaining for the sake of it. The hedge should be trimmed in line with the fencing for the whole length of the school. The site manager has been less than cooperative on a number of occasions. Please ensure that the job is properly completed and not just around the gate entrance. This is a serious obstruction and if the school caretaker isn't responsible it must be our City Council who should be dealing with it as a matter of urgency.
