Cathedral square is in severe need of a jet wash

Reported via mobile in the Pavement cleaning category anonymously at 12:28, Friday 12 August 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3749463.

The pavement around cathedral square especially near the benches and bins are in dire need of cleaning e.g. jet/ steam washing as the area is filthy, it's covered in dirt and gum!

Usually by now Cathedral square/ St John's square has it's annual deep clean but this year it's only been done in sections and in those areas the cleaning has been rushed leaving streaks/ lines all over the square and surrounding streets such as Exchange Street, church street and Queen's street also have the same problem.

Please could something be done to make this area cleaner, I know we are having to conserve water due to the heat and possible drought but this jet wash/ cleaning is much needed in this area especially for the surrounding restaurants and shops.
