Badly obscured road signs to the east of Helpston

Reported via desktop in the Traffic sign category anonymously at 17:30, Sat 30 July 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3718602.

Both sides of the speed limit sign are obscured by overgrown hedging which will not be cut until long after the nesting season has finished. Is it possible to have the road signs lifted to a position above the hedges so that they can be seen from both sides at all times of the year. Currently they are almost invisible until you are right on top of them. The 30 mph limit through the village and approaching the railway crossing are seldom adhered to which is a separate issue that the police should deal with. There is a potential danger to users of the cycle path by speeding traffic as the with of the path does not meet regulations accepted by PCC. Additionally the railway crossing is closed for on average for nearly half an hour in each hour which frustrates vehicle users and promotes speeding along theB1443.
