Residents painting lines on road to deter parking

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3694763.

There are parking space are available to everyone, but residents at 85 82 83 and upwards have drawn their own lines to reserve parking spaces in the area and half of the car park is now marked by residents. Customer wanted to remain anonymous but is there anything that can be done to have this investigated further?
