Dangerous parking on bend

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category by Gavin Wood at 21:29, Thursday

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3619283.

There is a lack of any parking controls between the Longthorpe Parkway Roundabout and the double yellow towards the entrance to the Thorpe Meadows Car Park. As a result cars are regularly parked on the roadside including on the bend. This means there is no visibility of approaching vehicles (or pedestrians) and it is common for vehicles to have to reverse. It has also resulted in a number of near misses. The installation of double yellow lines in this area would greatly improve the safety of this roadway.
