Trees need shaping as blocking streetlights
Reported via mobile in the Tree obscuring streetlight category anonymously at 11:41, Sun 19 June 2022
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3607248.
Good morning. I have raised 2 reports before where you have added comments that action will be taken on the trees blocking out the streetlights causing ASB as allowing cover for people using the shade to enter or try vehicles. The last entry here https://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 3533024 has been actioned by your contractors, but they did one tree (badly) so this new report is being raised so you don’t pay them for an awful job. There are still trees touching telephone wires, trees causing shade over cars so potential targets and if that’s the best shaping of a tree, then goodness knows where they learnt their skills from. Happy to talk if needed, so get in touch and please send a surveyor back (and get them to walk round with me). But whatever you do, do not pay this contractor for doing something an amateur could have done in 15 minutes!
