This tree is dead at at risk of toppling
Reported via mobile in the Tree is dead or dying category anonymously at 12:53, Sun 12 June 2022
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3589471.
This dead tree is now a danger to people and property. Two other trees have already fallen close by one landed on my land and I was able to deal with it, the other luckily fell into space. This tree may fall soon due to its dead state and I am worried it may fall while I or a member of my family is below, risking injury or death.

Works recommended
Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.
A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
For further information please read the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028
