Low hanging branch over shared driveway

Reported via Android in the Low branches category anonymously at 16:46, Sunday 29 May 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3559469.

Would you please cut back the low hanging branch over the driveway shared by numbers 31, 32 and 33 Livermore Green. Refuse trucks must hit this every week and it is getting low enough now to become an issue for smaller vehicles. Thanks.

  • Works recommended

Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.

A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.

Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.

For further information please read the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028

Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact Aragon Direct Services.
