Neighbor's concerned branches on trees are dead
Reported via desktop in the Tree is dead or dying category anonymously at 11:33, Fri 22 April 2022
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3475226.
Neighbour's to Ormiston Meadows Academy are concerned for the safety of the children as they tend to play and climb the branches on some of the trees as they arrive to and leave school. They believe some of the branches on the trees are dead and could snap. Could someone please look at all the trees on the small plot, not just the one I've marked.

Works recommended
Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.
A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
For further information please read the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028
