Duvet dumped, they have had a confirmed flea probl

Reported via mobile in the General fly tipping category anonymously at 08:53, Wed 13 April 2022

Sent to Peterborough City Council 3 hours, 37 minutes later. Council ref: 3456372.

They have dumped 2 duvets outside at 6am. We fully expect this to have FLEAS, as this is a repeat of last time where they dumped confirmed flea infested sofa, carpets, clothing outside front and back. They then subsequently got rats living in this dump put back, and which visible tried to get in our house.

They have dumped AGAIN, againthey are making us live in health hazard a risk of infestation.

As there are 500 different men living here at different times in a rolling way, there is also a high chance of bed bugs as well. I have reported this but the council don’t seem bothered to investigate this highly dubious use of housing that is horrible and threatening to live next to.

Please can you get rid of the likely infested duvet dump as soon as possible. Thank you.

  • We were unable to clear this fly tip. It may be that we were unable to locate it or it may have been on private land.

Fly-tipping will only be cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council. We are unable to clear fly-tipping from private land as this is the responsibility of the land owner.

Whilst we cannot provide further details at this time, residents can obtain information on land ownership through HM Land Registry if required. In some cases, the council's environmental enforcement team will investigate further. Therefore, this job has not been completed.

State changed to: No further action
