Overgrown Trees at Car Park
Reported via desktop in the Overgrown trees category anonymously at 11:26, Thursday 7 April 2022
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3443559.
The trees overhanging the carpark at the end of the cul de sac towards the river nene are now stopping cars from being able to park there, without damaging the cars themselves. Needs a bit of trimming back to avoid scratching the paint off.

Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.
A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
