Overgrown trees on bus lane opposite William Law

Reported via desktop in the Tree blocking TV/Satellite or radio signal category anonymously at 19:25, Mon 20 December 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3191614.

This issue has been reported already and PCC inspection has advised that these trees are on private land. These trees are not on private land but in a tree belt serviced/maintained by Aragon indicating that this is council land. They may well have been planted 20-30 years ago by a private householder but they are certainly planted on PCC land. I have checked with the landlord, who owns the property they are in front of, but as they only purchased the property in recent years they are not responsible for planting the trees. The trees are affecting our aerial signal and I really feel that to try and push the problem onto a private householder is very poor behaviour and a “ cop out”on the part of PCC in order to avoid sorting the problem. It’s blatantly obvious that they are planted on council owned land. Please review your original decision as it appears to be incorrect as all this strip of land is maintained by Aragon along the whole of the bus lane opposite William Law primary school. Thank you.
