Dangerous trees and leaves

Reported via desktop in the Tree is dead or dying category anonymously at 13:15, Wed 24 November 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council 53 minutes later. Council ref: 3141413.

Hello there There are 3 Ash trees on London Road near our houses and each of them has dead or dying branches. During the last bad weather we had, branches came down and it is only a matter of time before branches fall and injure someone or if they fall on the road, it could cause a serious accident. The tree has also grown and it blocks the view of one of the road signs too. I believe the trees have a protection order on them but they need some kind of maintenance and trimming back please. Please could you arrange for someone to come and do some work on them to trim back and remove dead / dying branches? Also, the leaves from the trees are all over the pavement and on the road. When wet, they will be a significant slip hazard and need to be cleared away as well as the detritus that is in the ditch between the hedge and the pavement to prevent rats / vermin finding a haven there

Thank you ever so much
