Car parking

Reported via mobile in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 15:10, Sun 21 November 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3135749.

Cars and vans parked on road. Making it difficult for homeowners to access and leave driveways in vehicles. Double parked at times meaning an Ambulance could not get through one evening. Majority of vehicles do not belong to the houses they are parked outside of. All houses have a garage large enough for a vehicle, along with a minimum of one off street parking. So each house has a minimum of two parking spaces so there should be no reason for constantly parking on the road. Also no dedicated path for pedestrians, which is why the road is wider than usual, but with cars parked the pedestrians are forced to walk down the middle of the road. Issue been present for over two years.

Suggest double yellow lines, or parking restrictions with limited number of permits issued to homeowners to allow visitors to park on the road.
