Overflowing bins and flytipping in car park

Reported via mobile in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 10:44, Tue 16 November 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3126396.

The bins don’t appear to have been emptied for some time and are overflowing. (I note the same problem was reported on this site only a short time ago and the issue marked as dealt with, but this certainly does not appear to be the case.) The provision of just one bin in a large car park that hosts a boot fair on Sundays is clearly inadequate. There is fly tipping of domestic rubbish and general littering all around the car park, with litter stuffed into hedges and broken glass on the grounds, which has been present for at least 2 weeks but is a constantly occurring issue. This on top of the poor condition of the road surface and obliterated direction/parking bay markings (which have been an issue for the three years I’ve been using this car park regularly), as a car park season ticket holder I’m unimpressed at the lack of maintenance.
