Unclaimed unemptied brown bin

Reported via mobile in the General fly tipping category anonymously at 14:13, Thu 11 November 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council 2 hours, 45 minutes later. Council ref: 3118205.

Brown bin left outside 129/136 Essendyke for weeks. All residents deny ownership, it keeps being pushed over and other residents having to pick up the contents. Our area brown bins have been emptied, clearly no one has paid for it to be emptied. Can it be collected please?

  • We were unable to clear this fly tip. It may be that we were unable to locate it or it may have been on private land.

Fly-tipping will only be cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council. We are unable to clear fly-tipping from private land as this is the responsibility of the land owner.

Whilst we cannot provide further details at this time, residents can obtain information on land ownership through HM Land Registry if required. In some cases, the council's environmental enforcement team will investigate further. Therefore, this job has not been completed.

State changed to: No further action
