Litter from fast food outlets

Reported via desktop in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 16:13, Fri 22 October 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3078768.

For too long the car park around the Vivacity Premier gym has suffered from litter from the fast food restaurants nearby as people drive to the car park, eat their food the throw everything out of their windows into the car park. The time has come when action needs to be taken against the offenders. This could include out of hours litter wardens or using CCTV. There is a CCTV camera mounted at high level in the car park. In addition I am aware that some councils are trialling litter cams which are able to identify offending vehicles. For too long this has been a problem and action is now needed.
