After Saturday 2nd October’s rain Grimshaw Road from house no8 to no18 is flooded to a depth of approx 6 inches across the width of the road. This is a common occurrence after significant rainfall. Obviously the drains are blocked and cannot disperse the rain.

The road gullies outside and opposite number have been inspected and appear to be clear, the next pair of gullies were located outside number 22 and again these were free from detritus and the water level down below the outlet pipe also. Should this reoccur then we recommend contacting Anglian Water on 03457 145 145 and ask that they come and check their surface water sewer located in the main carriageway.
