Years of ignored fly tipping
Reported via mobile in the General fly tipping category by Tara O’Brien at 10:45, Thursday 16 September 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 3005086.
The reason this is so catastrophic is because for the last ten years PCC has denied ownership of this land. It is now out of hand. I have proved that PCC owns the land by purchasing the title dead and giving it to James Collingridge at environmental affairs at the council. He has accepted responsibility and accepted ownership. Now you need to clean what you haven’t for 10 years, so yes it will be a big job. I have however managed to get the Nene valley railway to loan you a train to load it all onto for you to remove it.
Thanks for reporting this issue

We were unable to clear this fly tip. It may be that we were unable to locate it or it may have been on private land.
Fly-tipping will only be cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council. We are unable to clear fly-tipping from private land as this is the responsibility of the land owner.
Whilst we cannot provide further details at this time, residents can obtain information on land ownership through HM Land Registry if required. In some cases, the council's environmental enforcement team will investigate further. Therefore, this job has not been completed.
State changed to: No further action
