Missing Footpath Signs
Reported via iOS in the Public right of way - problem with access or damage category anonymously at 21:21, Thu 9 September 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2991414.
Next to the wooden gate, the sign pole with footpath sign pointing east & a Bridleway sign pointing north.
When I last walked through the area, the pole had been struck by an agricultural vehicle, so I would suggest placing the new one on the opposite side of the fence. The gate also needs a new latch putting on as with children, dogs & horses using the path, plus the dual carriageway alongside there could be a danger to users.
Thanks for making your report.
It will be passed on to the relevant department. We will endeavour to provide you with an update within 10 working days.
