Pavement is lifting at rear of 36

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2985347.
M in the Town Hall today and took a call from a lady wanting to speak to Gillian (she knows her from some community work with Comrades Reunited??). Anyhow, one of the things she wanted to raise was the issues with paving slabs at the rear of 53/53 Adderley in Bretton. Apparently they are very badly raised due to tree roots from an adjoining house and means the elderly and disabled residents are not able to use their rear access (should a fire occur they would be trapped).
She seems to think the land is unadopted but having spoken to Adrian, he thinks that as it's a hazard, there should be something highways can do? Sorry, it's not my area of expertise but is there someone from highways/or trees??
