Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2958581.
This whole area near the bridge is overgrown. Locals have been cutting it back themselves but why should we when we pay our council tax? It really needs to be taken by 3 metres from the path for it to be safe, specifically on the corner by the bridge. We will not continue to do your job for you.
Thanks for your enquiry regarding a council-owned tree. This has been sent to Aragon Direct Services for further investigation. We will endeavour to provide a further update within 3 working days

A Tree Surveyor has inspected the bridge, he can confirm that the path is not obstructed and the clearances meet statutory requirements.
This woodland area is on a 3 year rolling inspection program and at that point in time, any works will be instructed if required.
