Wrong location for Drain at Ice rink.

Reported via desktop in the Other public drainage issue category anonymously at 20:28, Wednesday 11 August 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2929877.

The drain hole is full of soil and other material which stops rink employee's from taking the rinks water readings. Due to this being on a public footpath is this councils responsibility?

  • Hi, unfortunately we only look at drains/gullies that take rain water. This looks like a water meter cover, this will either be again your private asset, irrespective of its location or more likely an Anglian Water asset, similar to the house hold water meters in the footpath outside individual properties. We recommend calling Anglian Water on 03457 145 145 and ask if they could send a technician to inspect the water meter.

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
