Tree brunches falling off the tree
Reported via mobile in the Tree blocking daylight category anonymously at 14:24, Thu 5 August 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2916643.
Tree brunches are low and some high they need to be cut as some brunches are braking and falling. The other day I got hit by one while putting washing in a garden. For safety reason (I’ve got a child) I’m asking you to cut those brunches off. My child can’t go to garden because I never know when brunch will drop it and hit her. She can’t use trampoline because of reason above.

Works recommended
Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.
A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
For further information please read the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028
