Large, deep trench on Glinton high street

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2903432.
Following two days of road closure in Glinton for “resurfacing work” the work men removed all the signage and left three large (2ft wide) deep (between 3-5 inches) trenches across the complete width of the high street. There is no warning of these hazards (no signs to say “Slow down. Ramp / ditch in road” ) so subsequently I hit the first one at about 20 mph which shook my car and bottomed out my suspension creating a massive judder in the car. It is ridiculous that these massive, man made potholes have been left (I’m sure someone will be back tomorrow to fill them in) without any signage to slow down vehicles. They will not be visible tonight and I can well imagine that significant damage could be done to a car(and it’s occupants) if they are not given warning to slow down. Something needs to be done urgently.
