  • All gullies in the lower end of Thorpe Lea Road numbers 54 to 78 have been inspected and all gullies were free from detritus and the water level down below the outlet pipe, as you may be aware during intense rainfall the Anglian Water surface water sewer at this location reaches capacity quickly this ultimately has an impact of the gullies as there are restricted in discharging into a full surface water sewer, after the events of the 9th July Anglian Water are investigating their sewer network within this area. Should this area get large areas of standing water this can be reported direct to Anglian Water on 03457 145 145
