Loch Lomond way is a lead road onto the new estates in Orton Northgate. The last houses were completed around 5 years ago however the road remains untarmacked. This presents several dangerous health and safety hazards that have risk to injury or death of local residents, these include: No road markings to indicate speed or locations to park or pass No crossing points risking the lives of young children crossing to playgrounds or walking to school or playing Risk of damage to cars due to large potholes, uneven surfaces etc Dangerous incomplete kerbs at a significantly different height from the road level.
The lack of action on this issue is totally unacceptable and the housing companies should be held to their responsibilities to complete the road and handover to the council ASAP. This will prevent serious injury, damage to property or potential death. this is the responsible thing to do.
