Pedestrian/Cycle path severly overgrown
Reported via desktop in the Public right of way - problem with access or damage category anonymously at 09:35, Wed 14 July 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2863475.
This problem relates to the path to the side of the NVR track from the level crossing at Woodston Reach to the Woodston ponds (and beyond?). The undergrowth and the overhead branches all need severe cutting back. It has not been done for at least 6 months, not sure whether any cutting back took place last year with lockdown. It is now so bad that even walkers have to duck under the branches let alone cyclists. Also only half the lighting installed in the tarmac can be used as it is overgrown on the non-rail/banked side. It is no longer possible for cyclists or walkers to pass each other in certain spots without stopping and turning side on. Please cut back urgently before someone does get hurt.
