  • We have attended site and inspected the road gully nearest to number 285, this was clear and and what detritus was found in the very bottom of the pot was removed, however this gully is only as good as the system it outfalls into, this being the Anglian Water sewer network, during July the 9th we have had reports that 69mm of rain fell in 6 hours, and with one months average rain being 65mm, this extreme event overloaded the drainage network, this is proven throughout the city with numerous images of manholes surcharging.
