Ref Case Number 2857908 Update

Reported via desktop in the Other public drainage issue category anonymously at 16:41, Monday 12 July 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2859201.

Homeserve came today to examine the drainage system on our property out to the boundary line. The pictures are the result. All of that muck is washed down off the road, including sweet wrappers etc and affecting the effectiveness of our drains. I have contacted Anglian Water who take no responsibility stating that it's the Highways and Lead Flood Authority's responsibility at Peterborough Council. So, we have done what we can on our property to resolve the problem, but Homeserve believe, like us, that the cause of the problem is inadequate drainage outside our property.
