No road markings on thorpe road

Reported via desktop in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 12:29, Monday 12 July 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2858281.

All the white lines and arrows have been worn away, from the roundabout with Thorpe Parkway into the City Centre. This can be very dangerous. For example last Saturday, the 10th July I was traveling from Leicester and intending to turn right onto The Drive. I pulled into the middle lane at the correct point although the white lines were barely visible. Another car approached me, head on! He was intending to turn right into the Coop. I took evasive action and risked getting rear-ended. I have been using Thorpe Road for over 30 years so I know how to make the turn into The Drive. It seems some idiots don't know the road layout sufficiently well. I have never seen the road markings so badly worn away.
