Water pours off Whittlesey Road and Floods Us
Reported via desktop in the Other public drainage issue category anonymously at 11:01, Monday 12 July 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2857924.
Whenever it rains the drains on Whittlesey Road are not adequate enough to cope with the water so it pours off the road and floods our driveway, side of the house and back patio. We think that an access point to the storm drains on Whittlesey Road needs to be put in outside our house so that the rainwater is transported away from our property via it, rather than flowing down onto our drive. We have contacted the council about this problem in the past and some work was done on the gullies that are supposed to move the water down to the drain points. This has not solved the problem unfortunately.
Thanks for making your report.
