Flooding new housing develoment Newark Road

Reported via desktop in the Other public drainage issue category by Samantha Dolby at 10:06, Monday 12 July 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2857707.

Last year we were built on at the rear of our properties. This involved the erection of a 3-4 foot retaining wall. Thanks to the freak weather, we now know that this has placed our properties into a bowl, the new development has provided no drainage and 4 homes in the street flooded. If the water had got any deeper this could have been more. The council passed this planning and it must be rectified before it occurs again.
