Flooding in road causing our front garden to flood
Reported via desktop in the Flooded road category anonymously at 21:09, Fri 9 July 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2853797.
The corner of Woodhurst Road from 46 around the corner past 56 is fully flooded over the path and into front gardens. This happens every time the rain is heavy so clearly there's an issue with drainage...

All carriageway gullies have been inspected on Wednesday 21st July 2021, these were all found to be free from detritus and all water levels in the gully pots were down to below the outlet pipes. As with many streets in Peterborough on the 9th the Anglian Water Surface Water Sewer, becomes overloaded thus preventing our gullies draining, making them appear to be blocked, however once the rain stops and the Surface water sewer empty's this enables our gullies to work again and drain the road network. Should this reoccur we recommend calling Anglian Water on 03457 145 145 and ask they check their surface water sewer.
State changed to: No further action
