All gullies were checked on Wednesday 21st July 2021 and found to be clear and free from detritus, it is known for the Anglian Water surface water sewer to become full quickly during intense rainfall, this impedes our road gullies as they can not drain away making them appear blocked, however once the rain stops and the sewer system empties our gullies would be able to also drain and clear the road of surface water. Should this reoccur we would recommend contacting Anglian Water on 03457 145 145 and ask they inspect their surface water sewer, in particular the manhole outside 101 Bishops Road.
State changed to: No further action
