Issues with flooding

Reported via desktop in the Other public drainage issue category anonymously at 12:02, Wed 7 July 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2847052.

I just wanted to notify you of the following (an email received from a Deeping Gate Councillor) and attach a picture of the drain in question for your records:

On Friday June 18th ,I was approached by the retired residents of 27 riverside regarding the amount of water along Riverside. It was inches away from their front door. Having phoned the fire brigade, they were trying to find sandbags. They had physically cleared the drain opposite number 12 Fairfax Way which is permanently blocked. The previous resident of number 12 used to unblock this drain weekly. The residents of number 27 had also phoned the city council and been given a number for highways.

Please let me know if there is any further information I can provide to help resolve this situation.
