Overgrown trees & Self-seeders to close to propert

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown trees category anonymously at 12:26, Monday 5 July 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2841619.

The trees to the side of 46 Henshaw and rear of 41-43 Henshaw, are seriously overgrown. I have lived here 15 years and they have never been cut back, except by ourselves. In addition to this there are a number of self-seeders which are less than 8ft from the property, one being a sycamore. The roots may cause damage to foundations, it is also getting so tall it blocks out light from our landing window, and will soon be up to the eaves which could encourage a squirrel infestation, which I or my landlord Home Group are not prepared to pay to have removed when it has been caused by a tree not within my control.
