There should be a warning system in place. If it burst the drain cannot disperse ths and units be flooded. • This Private (Riparian) watercourse is Known as Racecourse Drain (Cats Water Drain flows under the Rugby Club entrance) this was inspected on the morning of Friday 18th June and all debris removed , unfortunately the 37.4 mm of rain that fell was simply more than the downstream pipe work could discharge, a further inspection was made at 17:22 hours and a little debris had been washed downstream this was removed but it was noted however the water was already receding at at 18:01hours the watercourse had returned to normal levels.

State changed to: No further action
